I am a young woman on a mission. I may not be quite sure of the details of that mission, or how I will accomplish what I know needs to be done, but something has got to give and I am willing to push. I am currently on a break from college ( I was attending Green Mountain College in Poultney, VT - a private environmental liberal arts school) and hope to transfer in the fall to Johnson State in Vermont. There I will study Wellness and Alternative Medicine and Outdoor & Environmental Education... just a small adjustment from my original plan to major in Writing and English Education. I have been on many adventures in the past few years that have brought me to meet amazing people and see some beautiful landscapes - from the beaches and rain forest of Costa Rica where I participated in a Sea Turtle Conservation Project to the United States' west where I bushwhacked through the high desert sage and hiked to over 14,000 feet on thin rock ledges. My drive to continue seeing the incredible and pushing myself past (what I thought were) my limits moves me to seek out those who are willing to lash out and spread love, no matter how discouraging the world may be or how many dirty looks at our ridiculous outfits. :)
