This workshop connects people to the outdoors using 5 senses meditation, personal exploration and response, contact with nature and each other, and reflection.
The senses become heightened and meditation slows down time, creating time for interaction to occur. Intimate participation with nature provokes enlightened experiences!
Workshop Leader: Mendy Holliday Craig
Mendy is experienced in improvisation, modern dance, contact, authentic movement, etc. She has led these workshops at ecstatic dance retreats in Austin, Texas for a few years now. Her own experience with mediation, yoga, and dance, and interest in connecting to the natural world led her to develop this workshop that incorporates instruction from many teachers around the country.
